Champagne, proposals and childhood fun :)

So it's been a while, but I have a legitimate excuse... The past few days were spent camping with no internet - but that's for the next blog post. First, I have to get you up-to-date with the antics from the week of the 18th...

I mentioned previously I had a few assignments and a presentation on Tuesday (19th), they all went well - as far as I can tell, and to celebrate our teacher bought in champagne, which was a very nice surprise and a good end to the day :D Uni and the culture here is certainly very different to back in the UK.

Wednesday (20th) came the time to explore a new beach. We chose Curl-Curl, which took about an hour and a half to get to. It was beautiffuull, a long stretch of beach with pretty much nobody on it. It's moved 2nd on my rankings after Palm Beach! And to add to the magic, somebody proposed using a helicopter spelling out 'marry me penny', which was superrr cute.

We spent ages in the water cause the waves weren't as crazy, and despite seeing jellyfish and coming out with wrinkled fingers from being in the water too long, it was a good day.

Friday's (22nd) class I'm not even going to talk about.. We went. And I wish I hadn't. End of story.

Saturday (23rd) boredom and bad weather struck, so we spontaneously decided to live a childhood dream of mine - to go to a trampoline room thing. We had an hour session, and after 15 minutes we were knackered. But, I got back into my flips, backflips and felt good to be doing them again. Unfortunately, an hour of bouncing paid off and we ended up hobbling away, complaining about bad ankles, knees, back etc. I was in pain for a good few days after, but it was fun, I'm not complaining :D

Also, we weren't allowed to film, but here's a cheeky tiny vid anyway...
